WCB for Alberta Farmers

Farmers who need to apply for WCB have until April 30, 2016 to do so.

Any farm or ranch with waged workers who are not business owners or family members of business owners now have to require WCB account. So waged workers are employees only, the farmer doesn’t have to obtain WCB for those who are hired as “custom workers”.

Forage & peat moss processing, hay/grain/crop farming, harvesting/baling-custom


Beef producers, dairy farms, elk/bison producers, feed lots, livestock auctions/stockyards, llama/alpaca producers, riding academies/horse stables$2.97
